His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, announced on Monday evening during a phone interview on the program “Al-Khat Al-Mubasher” that Sharjah seeks to register Al-Hisn Fort in Dibba with the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) as a heritage site affiliated with the city of Dibba Al-Hisn. This follows the completion of its development project, reflecting Sharjah’s commitment to protecting historical, cultural, and human heritage and enhancing the status of archaeological sites that contribute to reshaping the features of ancient human history.
