Press sources reported that the Israeli occupation army began withdrawing from some areas in the Gaza Strip on Friday morning, while noting that shelling continues despite Israel’s approval of a ceasefire agreement.

They indicated that the Israeli army repositioned in some areas of the Gaza Strip and did not fully withdraw.

It was confirmed that some areas in the Strip witnessed Israeli shelling during the early hours of Friday despite the ceasefire coming into effect.

Israeli media reported the start of withdrawal from Gaza City and the Beach Camp towards the agreed line.

The media said the army withdrew the Seventh Brigade and began reducing the number of forces participating in military operations in the Gaza Strip, noting the withdrawal of combat units belonging to the Golani Brigade and other forces from Gaza.
