The global star Josh Brolin, who plays the father of the missing child Archer Graff in the film Weapons, revealed the reason for his participation in the mysterious horror film. In an interview with Collider, Brolin openly discussed why Weapons differs from “boring horror movies,” revealing that he signed on to the film by director Zack Kriger after getting the green light from his daughter and son-in-law. He began by saying, “You are talking to that category of viewers, and they react to something I may not understand.” Brolin added, “Kriger told me that every character is based on a specific reaction he had to a very traumatic event that happened to him, and I found that wonderful.” The film stars Scarlett Sheer, Julia Garner, Carrie Christopher, Jason Turner, Josh Brolin, Benedict Wong, Annie Jules, Ali Birch, Michael Gene Conti, and Austin Abrams.
The horror film Weapons revolves around the mysterious disappearance of all children from the same class except one child, on the same night and at the same time, raising questions in the community about their identity or reason for disappearance.
