Google recently released a new update for its popular Chrome browser version 139 on Android, focusing on enhancing user experience by adding new features and fixing some issues.
One of the main improvements is the enhanced tab groups, making tab organization easier than ever. Users can now access the “Add tab to group” option directly from the three-dot menu, facilitating adding open tabs to specific or new groups. Additionally, a “New tab group” button was added in the tab grid switcher to quickly create new groups.
Furthermore, the update fixed a significant bug affecting the “Copy link” shortcut in the address bar, which previously prevented the link from copying correctly to the clipboard. Now it works efficiently when long-pressing the address bar. Google also continued improving the dark mode, making the overall appearance slightly brighter and closer to gray, enhancing interface clarity and giving it a smoother look.
These updates are being rolled out gradually to all Android users and are expected to reach all devices in the coming weeks. If the new features do not appear yet, users can try closing and reopening the app to check if the update has arrived on their device.
