The 2025 Egyptian Super Cup will be held in the United Arab Emirates, featuring four major clubs: Al Ahly, Zamalek, Pyramids, and Ceramica. The tournament will follow a semifinal and final format to offer an exceptional football experience for Arab fans and followers of Egyptian football.
On the first day, Zamalek will face Pyramids at Al Nahyan Stadium in the capital Abu Dhabi, while the second match of the same day will see Al Ahly play Ceramica at Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium in Al Ain on November 6.
The final match will take place on November 9 at Mohammed Bin Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi to crown the 2025 Egyptian Super Cup champion, following the third-place playoff that precedes the final.
Al Ahly, the current Egyptian Premier League champion, won last year’s Egyptian Super Cup in Abu Dhabi by defeating Zamalek 7-6 on penalties after a goalless draw in regular and extra time.
The tournament’s hosting in Abu Dhabi is part of a cooperation agreement signed between the UAE Pro League, the Egyptian Football Association, and United Sports Company, stipulating that the UAE capital will host the new edition of the Egyptian Super Cup.
Al Ahly has won the Egyptian Super Cup 15 times, making it the most successful club in the tournament’s history, while Zamalek ranks second with 4 titles.
