Dr. Salama Dawood, President of Al-Azhar University, discussed with deans and vice deans the proposed credit hour system programs to appear in this year’s university admission coordination, confirming that these programs will be announced after their approval and accreditation.

The university president pointed out that this year will witness six new faculties at Al-Azhar University in Cairo and the two Nile Delta and Upper Egypt regions, according to the approval issued by the Prime Minister. These include: Faculty of Computers and Artificial Intelligence for males in Cairo, another for females, Al-Azhar Girls’ Faculty in Qena, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine for males in Assiut, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine for males in Hosh Issa in Beheira Governorate, and Al-Azhar Girls’ Faculty in Matrouh.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Mohamed Fikry, Vice President of the University for the Female Branch, Dr. Sayed Bakry, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Dr. Yasser Helmy, Director of the International Excellence and Institutional Development Office, Dr. Mohamed Ezzat, member of the University’s International Excellence Center, and the deans and vice deans of the faculties.
