In response to the Crown Prince’s initiative, the Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, Engineer Ahmed Al-Rajhi, along with ministry leaders and staff, participated in the annual national blood donation campaign. The minister launched the campaign’s activities with wide participation from ministry leadership and employees, reflecting the Crown Prince’s inspiration to promote humanitarian values and emphasize the importance of blood donation as a noble act that saves lives. This embodies a model of national and humanitarian giving and fosters a culture of blood donation as a social value expressing solidarity and compassion. Al-Rajhi affirmed that the campaign aims to raise awareness about the importance of voluntary donation and ensure the sustainability of blood supplies to save the lives of those in need, aligning with Saudi Vision 2030 goals to build a vibrant society enjoying health and quality of life.
He explained that the ministry’s participation extends its role in enhancing social responsibility and volunteer work, highlighting the contributions of the social and non-profit sectors in supporting national initiatives.
