U.S. President Donald Trump said on Wednesday that he may send federal troops to the state of Louisiana to combat crime.
Trump mentioned during remarks to reporters at the start of a meeting with Polish President Karol Nawrocki that his administration is currently deciding whether to send troops to Chicago or to “a place like New Orleans.”
He added, “We will go to, maybe Louisiana, and you have New Orleans which has a crime problem. We will solve the issue in about two weeks.”
