US President Donald Trump said on Wednesday that he intends to speak with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin in the coming days regarding ending the war in Ukraine.

After his meeting with Putin in Alaska last month, Trump made no significant progress toward his goal of stopping the fighting.

Trump said, “I will speak to him in the next few days and find out exactly what is happening.”
