Dr. Sami Fadl Diab, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education in New Valley Governorate, and Mohamed Fikry, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Youth and Sports in the governorate, launched the Sports Activities League in schools, involving a group of schools from various educational stages (preparatory and secondary).
The league events started on the grounds of the Preparatory Secondary Sports School in Kharga amid an atmosphere of enthusiasm, with the presence of education leaders, sports education supervisors and teachers, and leaders from the Youth and Sports Directorate in the governorate. The league includes athletics, football, volleyball, and table tennis.
The Undersecretary of Education expressed his sincere appreciation for the strong competition among the participating school teams, highlighting the vital role of sports activities in developing students’ physical fitness and motor skills, as well as instilling healthy and cultural sports concepts.
