The Ministry of Youth, in cooperation with AMIDEAST and supported by Boeing, celebrated the graduation of the third cohort of the “Job Qualification for Joining the Aviation Sector” program, which included 58 young men and women from across the Kingdom.

Dr. Raed Al-Adwan, Minister of Youth, stated that the program reflects the state’s vision to empower youth and prepare them for future careers, noting that the program aligns with the royal directives emphasizing that youth are the focus of the national modernization process.

Al-Adwan explained that the aviation sector embodies values of discipline, precision, and teamwork, and is a model for successful public-private partnership. He emphasized that preparing young talents and equipping them with technical and professional skills contributes to realizing political and economic modernization paths.

Wael Zoud, General Manager of Boeing in the Middle East and North Africa, said that the company has been cooperating with AMIDEAST since 2020 to implement quality programs in education, alongside workforce development initiatives and support for injured military personnel.

He pointed out that the “Job Qualification for Joining the Aviation Sector” program, launched in 2023, is one of the most prominent and impactful initiatives, opening new horizons for Jordanian youth to build promising career paths and setting a high standard for the company’s community initiatives in the region.

On her part, Nour Al-Rashid, Country Director of AMIDEAST in Jordan, said that this year’s graduates’ success reflects the real value of linking training to labor market needs, noting that more than half of the participants obtained job or training opportunities, contributing to changing lives and enhancing the efficiency of Jordan’s aviation sector.

She added that since its launch three years ago, the program has proven its effectiveness and tangible results, with 170 young men and women graduating so far, 88 of whom have secured jobs in the aviation sector.
