The Cairo International Film Festival announced the names of the jury members for the short film competition at its 46th edition, held from November 12 to 21, 2025.

This was announced during the festival’s press conference held earlier today.

The short film competition jury consists of actress Tara Emad from Egypt, director Boom Bunsermwichai from Thailand, and director and writer Anas Sarin from Switzerland.

The Cairo International Film Festival is one of the most prestigious festivals in the Arab world and Africa, and the only one in the region to hold the ‘Category A’ accreditation from the International Federation of Film Producers Associations (FIAPF) in Paris. The festival was established in 1976 and is held annually under the auspices of the Egyptian Ministry of Culture.
