The newspaper explained that Brigitte Macron signed the sales contract at a notary office in Paris, transferring ownership of the “Monigan Villa,” which has belonged to her family since 1985 and was inherited by her, to the real estate development company “Oxial.”

The company plans to convert the villa into a commercial project featuring luxury shops, benefiting from its strategic location within the so-called “Golden Triangle” of the coastal resort.

The villa covers about 250 square meters and is built on a 660 square meter plot of land. The ground floor includes two commercial shops (a real estate agency and a clothing store) whose rental income has increased the property’s value. Considering the area, the price per square meter was about €14,400, higher than the average in Paris.

Despite selling the property, the French president’s family will still own another home in the area. In August, the newspaper “Le Figaro” revealed that the real estate company SCI Bremselati, managed by the Macrons and Brigitte’s children, purchased a new sea-view villa in the same resort.

The newspaper noted that the company’s name is composed of the initials of the family members: Brigitte, Emmanuel, Sébastien, Laurence, and Thévenin.

According to “Le Figaro,” the French president and his wife preferred to move to a quieter place away from the spotlight, although the new villa is practically close to the city’s main commercial street and directly faces the beach.
