Al-Qahira News reported that thousands of Palestinians are heading to the northern Gaza Strip following the announcement of the ceasefire.

It stated: “Indescribable joy spreads among the displaced as they return to their homes.”

It added that Al-Rashid and Salah al-Din roads have returned to normal operation for the Palestinians.

It also noted the opening of Al-Rashid Street and the beginning of the displaced returning to Gaza City.
