German media reports on Wednesday revealed that Bayern Munich has placed Serbian striker Dusan Vlahovic, Juventus’ star, at the top of its priorities in the upcoming transfer market, preparing to sign him on a free transfer at the end of the current season.
According to the German newspaper “Bild,” the Bavarian club’s management has already started contacts with Vlahovic’s representatives to gauge his position on moving to “Allianz Arena” during the upcoming winter transfer window or next summer after his contract with Juventus expires.
The Serbian striker’s contract with the “Old Lady” ends at the end of the current season, giving him the freedom to sign with any new club starting from next January without referring to his current club’s management.
The newspaper explained that the player welcomed the move to Bayern Munich, as he is interested in experiencing a new challenge in the German league after spending three years playing in Italy with Fiorentina and Juventus.
Vlahovic, 25 years old, joined Juventus in January 2022 from Fiorentina and quickly became one of the top forwards in Serie A, thanks to his physical strength and high ability to finish attacks.
English media reports also indicated Manchester United’s interest in signing Vlahovic, but Bayern Munich seems closer to finalizing the deal, especially after receiving the green light from the player himself.
