Just Jared revealed that Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban have separated after more than 19 years of marriage.
The couple began their relationship in 2005 and married in June 2006. They are parents to two children – 17-year-old Sunday Rose and 14-year-old Faith Margaret.
Sources from TMZ reported that Nicole (58) and Keith (57) have been living separately “since the beginning of summer.”
The source claims that Nicole did not want the separation and tried to save the marriage, but Keith left the home to live alone.
In related news, Australian star Nicole Kidman announced the completion of filming for the second part of the famous movie Practical Magic through a behind-the-scenes video with her co-star American actress Sandra Bullock, posted on her Instagram account.
The film, a sequel to the original 1998 movie adapted from a novel by author Alice Hoffman, will bring Kidman and Bullock back to their iconic roles as the witch sisters “Gillian” and “Sally Owens.”
The two stars appeared running and laughing in a field at sunset, to the tune of a new version of the song “Crystal” by Stevie Nicks, the same song featured in the original movie’s soundtrack.
Kidman commented on the post saying, “Practical Magic 2 filming is done! Thanks to the cast and crew for all the magic.”
The new installment is scheduled for release on September 18, 2026, and will see the return of actresses Diane West and Stockard Channing as the aunts “Jet” and “Francis,” along with new faces such as Joey King, Lee Pace, Maisie Williams, Ksawery Marcinowicz, and Sully MacLeod. However, the film will miss one original cast member, as actress Evan Rachel Wood – who played “Kylie,” Sally’s daughter – announced she was not invited to participate in the sequel despite her expressed desire to return.
Although details of the new story are kept under wraps, reports indicate the events will be based on a later part of Hoffman’s novel series. The director this time will be Susan Bier. Regarding her enthusiasm to return, Kidman previously stated earlier this year: “When we were filming the first part, we really wished to continue the story.”
