Today, the great star Karim Abdel Aziz celebrates his 50th birthday, born on August 17, 1975. He has gone through many artistic milestones to become one of the top stars in Egypt. With his calm features, simple performance, and joyful expressions, he easily won a large place in the hearts of his audience and established his name among the best comedy stars in Egypt.

One of the important milestones in Karim Abdel Aziz’s life is his marriage to Heidi Sorour, which lasted nearly 20 years. Their acquaintance began through family introductions, which later turned into a great love story and continuous marriage. Karim mentioned in a previous interview, “Our relationship started with a family meeting; my father is very close to her father, and they have been friends for a long time. We were in a place, and she came with her parents, and we met.”

He continued: “I love intelligence; I love a smart woman. Beauty is not my number one priority. I married her when she was 20 years old, and there is more than a 10-year age difference between us. We raised each other. She is jealous like any woman but not the kind of jealousy that harms my work. Also, during our life together, she changed some things in me, and I changed some things in her.”

Regarding the sudden love story that developed between them, he said: “It’s not love at first sight, but there was comfort and attraction. I cannot marry through arranged marriages, but, praise be to God, with Heidi, she is the only woman I met through family and continued with.”

It is worth mentioning that Karim Abdel Aziz’s latest cinematic work is the film ‘Project X,’ featuring artists Yasmine Sabri, Eyad Nassar, Ahmed Ghazy, Mariam El Gendy, Essam El Sakka, along with several guest stars in one or two scenes, most notably Hana El Zahed, Maged El Kedwany, Karim Mahmoud Abdel Aziz, Mostafa Gharib, Fadwa Abed. The film was written and directed by Peter Mimi, co-written by Ahmed Hosni, and produced by Tamer Morsi.
