Families of Israeli captives have accused Netanyahu and his government of avoiding discussions on mediators’ proposals, considering that the war continues without clear objectives or convincing justifications.

The war on the Gaza Strip entered its 700th day amid ongoing Israeli military escalation, with the army intensifying airstrikes on various areas, resulting in Palestinian casualties. Meanwhile, the humanitarian crisis worsens as hunger continues to claim more lives.

In the occupied West Bank, the Israeli army continued raids on several cities and towns, including the village of Al-Mughayyir north of Ramallah, and Al-Arsad Street in the Northern Mountain area of Nablus. Settlers also attacked Palestinian homes in the Hamroush area east of Sa’ir town north of Hebron.

Simultaneously, thousands of Israeli protesters gathered in front of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s residence in Jerusalem, demanding a deal to release captives and end the war on Gaza.
