The General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai has launched the “Creators Care – Eighth Batch” program, marking a significant milestone in the institution’s journey to support young minds and empower them to develop innovative solutions that enhance the country’s competitiveness, aligning with the UAE’s vision to build a knowledge-based economy founded on creativity and smart transformation, ultimately achieving the UAE Centennial 2071 goals.

The program’s activities began at the Rochester Institute of Technology in Dubai with a speech by the Director General of the department, Lieutenant General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, in the presence of his deputy, Major General Obaid Muheir Bin Surour, alongside assistant directors general.

Al Marri emphasized that nurturing creativity has become an integral part of the institution’s identity and mission.

He explained that “the Creators Care program is not just training but an investment in humans as the true wealth of the UAE.”

He added, “We view creativity as a pillar for building a society more prepared for the future and enhancing Dubai’s position as a global capital of innovation and new opportunity creation.”

The event witnessed the participation of a distinguished group of local and international leaders and partners who enriched the eighth edition of the program, including Dr. Mohammed Al Zarooni, Director General of Dubai Airport Free Zone Authority, Vice Chairman of the Board, and CEO of Dubai Silicon Oasis Authority; Dr. Abdulrahman Hassan Al Muaini, Assistant Undersecretary for Intellectual Property Sector at the Ministry of Economy and Tourism; and Saeed Al Tayer, Executive Director of Institutional Support Sector at Dubai Community Development Authority.

The current edition of the program included 39 participants who presented a range of innovative projects addressing key themes such as proactiveness, artificial intelligence, future readiness, and digital transformation within the Innovation Accelerator Lab, which serves as a practical platform to showcase participants’ energies and future visions.

The program, accredited by the Global Innovation Institute (GINI), is based on the UAE Innovation Model, the Cabinet Affairs Ministry Guide, and the “Innovation Learning Guide” issued by the Mohammed bin Rashid Government Innovation Center, reinforcing a culture of excellence and innovation as a strategic choice reflecting Dubai’s institutional identity and global reputation. The organization of the eighth edition of “Creators Care” embodies the commitment of “Dubai Identity and Foreigners Affairs” to support young national talents, establish an institutional innovation approach that places humans at the heart of sustainable development, and enhance Dubai’s status as an attractive destination for creators worldwide.
