MP Jameel Mulla Hassan, member of the Council of Representatives and Chairman of the Foreign Affairs, Defense and National Security Committee, described the visit of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to the Republic of Italy as a “milestone in the bilateral relations between the two friendly countries.”

He confirmed that this visit reflects the deep historical ties and mutual respect characterizing Bahrain’s relations with Italy, praising the insightful vision of the Crown Prince in enhancing cooperation with international partners.

He added: “The visit of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister translates the strategic direction of the Kingdom of Bahrain under the visions of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the esteemed King of the country, aiming to strengthen economic and investment cooperation and build sustainable international partnerships, based on the Kingdom’s position as a leading economic hub regionally and globally.”

He viewed that the official meetings held by His Highness and the agreements signed will open new horizons for cooperation in vital fields such as food security, clean energy, digital transformation, and advanced industries, contributing to driving comprehensive economic development in both countries.

MP Jameel Mulla Hassan concluded his statement by praising the significant role played by the Crown Prince and Prime Minister in presenting a bright image of the Kingdom of Bahrain and highlighting its developmental achievements and distinguished economic climate on the international stage, expressing his confidence that this visit will contribute to achieving further accomplishments that serve the interests of the two brotherly peoples and enhance security and stability in the region.
