The Tender and Bidding Board opened 7 public tenders, receiving 33 bids, including a tender for government hospitals seeking a specialized construction contractor to carry out renovation works for Ward 31 at Salmaniya Medical Complex. The scope includes civil, electrical, mechanical works, finishing works, and installation of medical gas systems, with a single bid received amounting to 266,000 Bahraini Dinars.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Works issued a tender for consultancy services to supervise the construction of a primary sewage treatment plant in the Hidd Industrial Area. The plant has a capacity of 24,000 cubic meters per day and will be connected to the main deep line in Muharraq. Six bids were received, with the lowest bid at 200,000 Bahraini Dinars.
On another front, Bapco Refining Company issued a tender for comprehensive maintenance of the steam turbine generator after 100,000 operating hours, expected to take place in the last quarter of 2025. This requires a full inspection and maintenance of the generator, with a single bid of 175,000 Bahraini Dinars received.
Bapco Refining also issued a second tender to purchase heat exchanger tubes for crude distillation unit number 4 for scheduled maintenance in 2026. Eight bids were received, with the lowest at 19,000 Bahraini Dinars.
Bapco Exploration and Production issued a tender to supply fittings and flanges to be installed at the Bapco field. Seven bids were received, with the lowest bid at 74,000 Bahraini Dinars.
The Ministry of Health announced a call to qualify companies to provide integrated pest and rodent control services through the private sector, receiving two bids, though their values were not disclosed.
Additionally, Housing Bank seeks consultancy services to prepare the master plan and traffic studies for multiple sites affiliated with the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning. This tender covers comprehensive studies for the master plan and traffic for 12 sites in Isa Town, Al-Busaiteen, Muharraq, and Sanabis, with a total area of 409,956 square meters. Four bids were received, but their values were not disclosed.
