The official Facebook account of Al-Masry Club issued a motivational message to the members of the General Assembly, urging them to participate in the voting process next Friday, writing “Your vote is our strength.. Go down and participate.”
Al-Masry Club had invited its members to attend the ordinary General Assembly meeting on Friday, October 17, 2025.
According to the provisions of Sports Law No. (171) of 2025 and the basic system regulations of Al-Masry Club No. 76 of 2017 regarding the procedures for holding the ordinary General Assembly meeting.
The Board of Directors of Al-Masry Club called on the active members entitled to attend the General Assembly meeting on Friday, October 17, 2025 (from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM) at the branch of Al-Masry Club (Al-Dawahi 1 – Al-Masry Social Club) to consider the following agenda:

In a different context, the Board of Directors of Al-Masry Club decided to remain in a permanent session to study taking several escalation decisions, which may reach the suspension of its sports activity and withdrawal from the league, in protest against the refereeing management of the Port Said team’s match in the ninth round of the league, which brought Al-Masry against Petrojet and ended with Petrojet winning 3-2.
The Board of Directors of Al-Masry Club called in an official statement for the rapid reform of the refereeing system, which has become one of the main obstacles to the reform of Egyptian football, according to the statement of the Port Said club.
Al-Masry objected in its statement to a penalty kick awarded by the referee in the Petrojet match against Al-Masry, which was the cause of Al-Masry’s defeat in the last minutes of the match. The board also protested the referee’s estimation of only ten minutes of added time.
Al-Masry, led by its Tunisian coach Nabil Kouki, occupies second place in the league standings with 15 points, earned by the brave sons of the city after playing 9 matches, winning 4, drawing 3, and losing 2. Al-Masry players scored 17 goals and conceded 11.
