Al-Qahira News Channel reported in a breaking news alert that preparations are underway to prepare the reception area for Palestinian prisoners at Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis.

It added that medical teams are ready to receive the freed prisoners, who were initially distributed across Israeli prisons and then gathered in one prison.

It explained that this is the first time in prisoner exchange deals that the lists of those to be released are delayed, and no Palestinian party has confirmed the names of the prisoners to be freed.

It pointed out that the inclusion of Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya’s name among the released has not been confirmed, and that the occupation is manipulating the emotions of the prisoners’ families, including Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya.

It is expected that some prisoners sentenced to life imprisonment are among those to be released.
