European leaders are scheduled to hold consultations tomorrow afternoon, Sunday, regarding Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s planned visit to Washington and the results of the Alaska summit between the American and Russian presidents held last Friday.

According to the Élysée Palace in Paris, the so-called ‘coalition of the willing’ will hold a video conference at 3 p.m. (1300 GMT), referring to an alliance of 30 countries supporting Ukraine led by Britain and France.

The meeting will be chaired by French President Emmanuel Macron along with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz.

It is noted that U.S. President Donald Trump and Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin held a meeting in Anchorage last Friday to discuss ending the war in Ukraine, but the summit did not yield any tangible results as announced afterward.

Zelensky is scheduled to meet the U.S. president in Washington next Monday.
