Russian President Vladimir Putin announced last night that Moscow’s doors are open for a visit by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, if he is ready for a meeting.
In a press conference following his visit to China, he said he informed U.S. President Donald Trump about the possibility of holding a meeting with Zelensky, adding, “If Zelensky is ready to meet, he should come to Moscow.”
The Russian president added that he has always been open to meeting with the Ukrainian president but emphasized the Kremlin’s position that such a meeting must be well-prepared in advance and lead to tangible results.
