Gold prices in the Egyptian market remained stable during trading on the evening of Friday, October 10, 2025, with the 21-carat gold price recording 5335 Egyptian pounds, while the gold pound price reached 42680 pounds, amid relatively calm demand in the local market.
Other carat prices were as follows: 24-carat at 6097.25 pounds, 22-carat at 5589 pounds, 18-carat at 4572.75 pounds, and 14-carat at 3556.75 pounds.
Globally, prices stabilized near $3975 per ounce, with a weekly increase of 2.2%, driven by rising expectations of a US interest rate cut and continued demand for gold as a safe haven amid geopolitical tensions.
