Ambassador Haddad El-Gohary, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigration for Consular Affairs, stated that under the directives of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs, a hotline service has been activated in more than 90 diplomatic missions and consulates abroad (via WhatsApp messages) to respond to inquiries from Egyptian communities within the jurisdiction of each diplomatic or consular mission, providing support and assistance as quickly as possible.

The diplomatic missions abroad have also announced their specific numbers on their social media pages to activate this service.

Additionally, to establish new communication mechanisms with Egyptian communities worldwide, a central hotline service (for the Office of the Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigration for Consular Affairs) has been activated with the phone number 00201226858000 (WhatsApp messages), alongside the hotlines of our diplomatic missions abroad, reflecting the great care the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs gives to the Egyptian communities worldwide.

Ambassador Haddad El-Gohary also mentioned that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ authentication offices have processed nearly 2.5 million transactions nationwide since the beginning of this year, in addition to issuing nearly 90,000 passports as part of the Ministry’s efforts to provide consular services domestically and abroad as quickly and efficiently as possible.
