Egypt secured an easy 1-0 victory over Guinea-Bissau on Sunday evening in the tenth and final round of the African qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup, amid festive celebrations of their qualification.

Egypt qualified for the World Cup for the fourth time, topping Group A in the African qualifiers with 26 points from 10 matches, achieving 8 wins and 2 draws without any defeats.
