The Brazilian national team inflicted a crushing 5-0 defeat on their host South Korea in an international friendly match held today, Friday, as part of both teams’ preparations for the 2026 World Cup.

Brazilian player Estéfano Willian scored two goals for the visitors “Seleção” in the 13th and 48th minutes, while his teammate Rodrigo Guss also netted a brace in the 42nd and 49th minutes.

Brazilian winger Vinícius Júnior secured the fifth goal in the 77th minute of the match, which took place at the “Seoul World Cup” stadium in the South Korean capital.

Under the leadership of Italian coach Carlo Ancelotti, the Brazilian team successfully qualified for the 2026 FIFA World Cup finals, while the South Korean team, led by coach Myung Bo Hong, also secured their spot in the tournament.
