Israeli media announced that the number of Palestinian prisoners to be released by Israel has been reduced to 1718 instead of 1722, according to Al-Qahira News Channel in a breaking news report.

It added that Netanyahu’s government held phone consultations regarding amendments to the list of Palestinian prisoners scheduled for release.

The amendments include replacing two prisoners, one of whom was found to have been previously released.
