The third round of the Classification Basketball League tonight
Tonight, the English team seeks to maintain its lead in the men’s classification basketball league when it faces the Contractors at 7:30 PM in Prince Hamzah Hall at Al-Hussein Youth City as part of the third round. Meanwhile, Al-Faisaly seems set to record another win when it meets Prince Hamzah (Aqaba) at 6 PM in the same hall, while Al-Wehdat “three points from two matches” will miss this round.
English leads with four points after securing its second consecutive victory over Al-Wehdat 77-65. Al-Faisaly “three points from two matches” recorded its first win in the tournament against the Contractors “one point from one match” 83-67, the same points as Prince Hamzah (Aqaba), who also played only one match.
According to the tournament system, which runs until the 31st of this month, the competition is held in a full league system with two phases (home and away) to rank the teams. All matches are played in Prince Hamzah Hall at Al-Hussein Youth City, with the top three teams promoted to the Premier League. The league includes no more than 20 matches, with each team playing only 8 teams. National team and elite players are absent as the tournament rules do not allow their participation.
Returning to the Al-Faisaly vs. Contractors match, Al-Faisaly fell behind early 0-11 but eventually dominated the last three periods to win 83-67.
Al-Faisaly fielded 11 players, with Ammar Bastami absent. Adham Al-Dajani was the best player and top scorer with 23 points, including a three-pointer, five rebounds, five assists, and four steals. Youssef Al-Ba’bish, coming off the bench, scored 11 points including a three-pointer and achieved a double-double with ten rebounds, five assists, and a steal. Ahmed Atiya, also from the bench, scored 11 points including three three-pointers, with four rebounds and four assists. Suhail Adel scored 5 points, 12 rebounds, and a block shot, while Michel Naffaa scored 11 points including two three-pointers and four assists.
Prince Hamzah club, absent last round, lost heavily in their first match against Al-Wehdat 42-108, fielding all players. Saif Ghanem was the best for his team with 18 points, nine rebounds, one assist, and one steal. Yamen Al-Sharbaty scored 11 points, six rebounds, and one steal. Ahmed Al-Nawaisha scored 4 points, 6 rebounds, and made two block shots.

Hani Al-Faraj was named best player with 15 points including two three-pointers, six rebounds, four assists, four steals, and a block shot. Issam Al-Hazaimeh scored 4 points, 9 rebounds, one assist, and three steals. Saeed Al-Khawaldeh scored 8 points including a three-pointer, 7 rebounds, and a steal. Hamza Shaaban scored 10 points including a three-pointer, 4 rebounds, 4 assists, and a steal. Basel Al-Khawaldeh scored 7 points including a three-pointer, 3 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals. Nasser Al-Anzor scored 3 points including two three-pointers, one rebound, and two assists.
The Contractors lost their first match against Al-Faisaly 67-83, fielding 9 players. Youssef Shatat was the best player with 16 points including two three-pointers, 7 rebounds, 4 assists, and 2 steals. Matri Bousha scored 14 points including a three-pointer, 5 assists, 4 rebounds, and 4 steals. Khaldoun Jabara, coming off the bench, scored 11 points including three three-pointers, 3 assists, and 2 steals.
