Al Ahly club officials have decided to closely monitor the performance of Omar Al-Saei, the player currently on loan to Al-Masry Al-Borsaidi, with the intention of finalizing his return to Al Ahly at the end of the current season if he continues to shine. The Egyptian Premier League for the 2025-2026 season has started with an exceptional system including 21 teams after the relegation was canceled last season. The current edition features 21 teams following the cancellation of relegation and the promotion of three clubs from the second division to join the 18 top league clubs. Al Ahly faces tough matches in the first 10 league rounds, including a match against Pyramids in the fifth round at Al Salam Stadium and a game against Zamalek in the ninth round.
Al Ahly has also made several signings including Tunisian Mohamed Ali Ben Ramadan, the return of star Mahmoud Hassan Trezeguet, Malian Aliou Yang, Ahmed Mostafa Zizo, goalkeeper Mohamed Siha from Al Mokawloon Al Arab, defender Ahmed Ramadan Beckham from Ceramica, and permanent acquisition of Mostafa Al-Ash from ZED after his loan ended, along with Mohamed Shokry from Ceramica, Yassin Marai from Pharco, and free transfer Mohamed Sherif.
