Mohammed Ibrahim Al-Sisi Al-Buainain, Secretary-General of the House of Representatives and Secretary of the Executive Committee of the Parliamentary Bloc, affirmed that meetings and gatherings with the brothers in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, and the activation of parliamentary diplomacy with brothers and friends at all levels, receive great attention and special care from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Great King of the country, may God protect and preserve him, and also enjoy continuous follow-up by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, may God protect him.

This came during the Secretary-General’s chairing of a new coordination meeting yesterday for the Organizing Committee tasked with preparations related to the 19th regular meeting of Their Excellencies and Honorable Heads of the Gulf Legislative Councils (Shura, Representatives, National, and Umma) of the GCC countries, hosted by the Parliamentary Bloc of the Kingdom of Bahrain from November 11 to 14, 2025.

The Secretary-General pointed out that this prestigious Gulf meeting, along with other regional and international parliamentary events hosted by the Parliamentary Bloc of the Kingdom of Bahrain, highlights its distinguished position in supporting the course of Gulf, regional, and international parliamentary cooperation. It also reflects the great confidence it enjoys regionally in its organizational and administrative capabilities and institutional efficiency in managing major parliamentary events with precision and professionalism, in line with the aspirations of the GCC countries to enhance frameworks for joint legislative and parliamentary coordination and integration.

The Secretary-General confirmed the full readiness of the Parliamentary Bloc of the Kingdom of Bahrain, under the directives of His Excellency Mr. Ahmed bin Salman Al-Musallam, Speaker of the House of Representatives and Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Parliamentary Bloc, and in coordination with his brother His Excellency Mr. Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh, Speaker of the Shura Council, to implement the final steps of the work plan to host this prominent Gulf event, including logistical, organizational, media, and technical procedures, and coordination with all relevant national authorities related to this event to ensure the completion of all preparations according to the highest standards of quality and professionalism.

The meeting also reviewed the latest updates related to preparations and final readiness, reviewed the agenda and accompanying activities, approved technical arrangements, the media and organizational plan, and witnessed the distribution of joint working teams between the General Secretariat of the House of Representatives and the General Secretariat of the Shura Council, working together as one team to highlight this Gulf meeting, ensuring smooth and efficient organizational processes that achieve national goals.
