The Moroccan national team trained on Saturday at the Mohammed VI Complex in Maamora in preparation for their upcoming match against the Republic of Congo on Tuesday at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat, as part of the final round of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
The technical staff, led by Walid Regragui, continues to work on tactical aspects and enhancing cohesion among players to maintain the positive momentum generated by the recent friendly win against Bahrain.
For this match, the national team is expected to regain defender Nayef Aguerd, who missed the previous game due to illness, while Sofyan Amrabat will continue to be absent due to injury, having been previously replaced by Anas Bacha.
The match against Congo will kick off at 8:00 PM, and the national team aims to continue its series of positive results after achieving 15 consecutive wins.
The Moroccan team had achieved a perfect record in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, winning all 7 matches in their group and securing qualification earlier.
