Tomato prices stabilized between 3 to 6.5 Egyptian pounds.
Potato prices remained between 6 to 9.5 pounds.
Onion prices ranged from 8 to 12.5 pounds.
Zucchini prices stayed between 16 to 22 pounds.
Carrot prices ranged from 9 to 13 pounds.
Bean prices were stable between 50 to 60 pounds.
Eggplant prices ranged from 4 to 7 pounds.
Bell pepper prices ranged from 7 to 11 pounds.
Hot pepper prices stabilized between 6 to 10 pounds.
Molokhia prices ranged from 6 to 7 pounds.
Local cucumber prices ranged from 11 to 15 pounds.
Okra prices ranged between 15 to 40 pounds.
Summer orange prices ranged from 22 to 44 pounds.
Local lemon prices ranged between 6 to 18 pounds.
Banati grape prices ranged from 19 to 25 pounds.
Local apple prices ranged between 20 to 40 pounds.
Persimmon prices ranged from 17 to 25 pounds.
Guava prices ranged between 10 to 20 pounds.
Pomegranate prices remained between 14 to 24 pounds.
Cantaloupe prices ranged from 5 to 9 pounds.
Local mango prices ranged from 15 to 25 pounds.
Watermelon prices ranged between 24 to 36 pounds.
Plum prices ranged from 30 to 40 pounds.
Pear prices ranged between 20 to 40 pounds.
These prices are wholesale and transportation and shipping costs are added. The final consumer price increases by 1.5 to 3 pounds depending on quality, according to Hatem Naguib, Vice President of the Vegetables and Fruits Division at the Cairo Chamber of Commerce.
