The General Authority for Cultural Palaces is preparing to launch its new project “The Cultural Café” in the New Alamein City in September 2025. It will be the Authority’s first investment project in the city and a unique initiative aimed at creating an open cultural and artistic space for the public, combining entertainment, creativity, and knowledge.
The project involves all sectors of the Ministry of Culture and will include an exhibition of fine arts showcasing works of prominent artists, alongside a permanent book exhibition offering various publications and volumes, as well as an outlet for marketing handicrafts and heritage products to support local artisans and artists.
The “Cultural Café” will also feature a fully equipped co-working space, a mini-library, and a gallery for crafts and arts, in addition to organizing a diverse program of cultural and artistic activities throughout the year, including theatrical and musical performances and creative workshops.
The project is located in the Towers area of New Alamein City, where the first site of 440 square meters inside the Mazarin compound has been handed over, adding a qualitative addition to the cultural and entertainment scene in the modern coastal city.
The “Cultural Café” will operate in morning and evening shifts, and during the school period, it will transform into a venue for workshops dedicated to students in the evening hours, covering various fields including acting, music, and visual arts, making it a vibrant center for developing creative skills among new generations.
