The death toll from an Israeli drone strike on eastern Lebanon rose to 6 martyrs with 10 others injured on Thursday. The strike targeted a vehicle on the international ‘Al-Masna’ road in the Bekaa region of eastern Lebanon. According to the Lebanese official news agency quoting the Ministry of Health, 6 people were killed and 10 injured in the final toll from the Israeli drone targeting a car on the Al-Masna road. A leader in the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine revealed that among the martyrs was the central committee member Abu Khalil Washah and his companion. The two were killed after their car was targeted on the Al-Masna road in Lebanon. Earlier, a Lebanese citizen was killed in an Israeli raid on the town of Kfardane west of Baalbek in eastern Lebanon.

The Lebanese agency reported that a hostile drone targeted a citizen in front of his home in Kfardane, resulting in his death. Additionally, a Syrian citizen was killed and two others injured in Israeli raids on the town of Deir Siriane in Nabatieh Governorate in southern Lebanon. Israel launched an aggression on Lebanon on October 8, 2023, which escalated into a wide war on September 23, 2024, resulting in over 4,000 martyrs and about 17,000 injured. A ceasefire agreement began on November 27, 2024, but Israel violated it over 3,000 times, causing 276 martyrs and 580 injured according to official data. In defiance of the ceasefire, the Israeli army partially withdrew from southern Lebanon while continuing to occupy five Lebanese hills seized during the last war.
