An emergency meeting of the foreign ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) was held this Monday afternoon at the organization’s headquarters in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, to discuss the ongoing Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip. The 21st extraordinary session of the foreign ministers of the member states focuses on the continuous Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people. Syria is represented at this meeting by Foreign Minister Assad al-Sheibani, who arrived in Jeddah on Sunday evening to participate. According to the Syrian news agency SANA, Minister al-Sheibani met with his Saudi counterpart Faisal bin Farhan on the sidelines of the emergency ministerial meeting in Jeddah.
