Mohamed Fadl Shaker and Walid El Helani are preparing to hold a special concert in Lebanon on August 22. During the concert, the two artists will present a selection of their own songs as well as some of the most famous songs of their fathers, in an artistic evening eagerly awaited by the audience. Recently, Mohamed Fadl Shaker participated in the Mawazine Festival, starting his musical segment by singing his father’s most famous songs, including “Faker,” “Ya Ghaib,” “Ahla Rasma,” “Ma’oul,” “Ya Hayat Al Rouh,” among others. He also asked the audience to join him in praying for his father, the great artist Fadl Shaker, to be relieved from his ordeal.
Mohamed Fadl Shaker’s participation in Mawazine is officially his first as an artist, although he had previously appeared on the same stage 13 years ago as a child with his father when he sang the song “Rouh” with him, which was also Fadl Shaker’s last public concert before his retirement, though he has recently returned.
