Everton, the English Premier League club, announced on Monday the signing of winger Tyler Dibling from Southampton on a four-year contract. The 19-year-old player appeared in 33 matches for Southampton and now moves to Everton to play under coach David Moyes. Although the transfer fee was not officially disclosed, British media estimated it at around £42 million ($56.74 million). Dibling told Everton’s official channel, “I think I have come to Everton at the right time and hope to stay here for many years.” He added, “My goal this season is simply to play as many matches as possible and help the team by scoring goals and providing assists.” Everton started the new season with one win and one loss in their first two league matches and will face Mansfield Town in the English Football League Cup on Wednesday before visiting Wolverhampton Wanderers in the league on Saturday.
