The 10th edition of the “Ethraa” Employment Fair kicks off today, organized by the Emirates Institute for Financial Studies in collaboration with the Central Bank of the UAE, the Emirates Competitiveness Council (Nafis), and the Government Empowerment Department.

The event, held at “Space 42 Arena” in Abu Dhabi for one day, features participation from more than 60 financial institutions, including major banks, fintech companies, insurance, exchange, and financing firms in the region.

The fair is a prominent platform to attract national talents and support Emiratization in the financial sector, offering hundreds of diverse opportunities including full-time, part-time, and flexible jobs, alongside specialized training and qualification programs under the “Ethraa” initiative, which aims to provide around 1900 job opportunities annually.

The fair also includes professional workshops and a career guidance pavilion designed to equip job seekers with the necessary skills and enhance their chances in the financial job market.

Marwan Al Muhairi, Director General of the Emirates Institute for Financial Studies, said the Ethraa Employment Fair represents a fundamental pillar within the national strategy to enhance Emiratization in the financial sector, in line with the wise leadership’s vision to build a sustainable knowledge-based economy.

He affirmed the commitment to developing Emirati competencies and equipping them with future skills needed to lead innovation and growth in this vital sector, contributing to consolidating the UAE’s position as a global financial hub.

The fair targets Emirati graduates holding high school diplomas and bachelor’s degrees in banking, insurance, finance, information technology, and other related fields. It aims to support sustainable growth in this vital sector by attracting qualified national cadres and providing a stimulating work environment that supports productivity and competitiveness, aligned with the ambitious goals of UAE Vision 2071.
