Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan stated that the Israeli government led by Benjamin Netanyahu, thirsty for blood, continues its brutal attacks on the Gaza Strip to destroy everything related to humanity. This came in a speech following a government meeting on Monday, commenting on the massacre committed by the Israeli army by bombing ‘Nasser Hospital’ in southern Gaza, which resulted in the martyrdom of more than 20 Palestinians, including 5 journalists and civilians. Erdogan said, “Netanyahu’s bloodthirsty government continues its brutal attacks to destroy all that relates to humanity.” Earlier on Monday, the Palestinian presidency considered the killing of 5 journalists by Israel while performing their professional duties in a strike targeting them at Nasser Hospital in southern Gaza a “war crime,” calling on the international community to urgently act to protect them and hold Tel Aviv accountable.
Since October 7, 2023, Israel, with American support, has been committing genocide in Gaza, resulting in 62,744 martyrs and 158,259 injured Palestinians, most of them children and women, more than 9,000 missing, hundreds of thousands displaced, and a famine that killed 300 Palestinians, including 117 children.
