Emirati artist Ahlam Al Shamsi shared with her followers the results of a surgical operation she underwent on her nose, revealing the reason behind it.
Ahlam posted videos on her official Snapchat account, appearing alongside her doctor, expressing her happiness with the results three months after the surgery, saying: “Today I came to my doctor, and thank God, after three months from the surgery, I am very happy with the result.”
The doctor explained that the surgery was due to a deviated nasal septum and enlarged turbinates, adding: “The main goal was to improve breathing and smelling, in addition to adjusting the nasal tip. Now, after three months, even the effect of the open surgery is starting to disappear, and it may have completely disappeared.”
Ahlam Explains the Reason for Her Nose Surgery
Al Shamsi pointed out that her main motivation for the surgery was to improve breathing, which positively affects her vocal performance, alongside the cosmetic aspect, saying: “It was necessary that my nose surgery would not affect my singing, but that my voice remains open. My primary goal was for my voice to return as it was, as it bothered me that its range was not showing as it should.”
