Apple is preparing to release the iOS 26.0.1 update in the coming days, according to leaks from a trusted account on the X platform known for revealing details of future system releases.

According to the source, the update was initially expected to have build number 23A350, but the new expected number is 23A355, suggesting that Apple has added more fixes and adjustments compared to the original plan. This information is supported by indicators observed by MacRumors in its visitor logs, showing that Apple software engineers have been internally testing the update in recent days.

The new update is expected to address several issues that recently appeared with the iPhone 17 series, including a camera glitch affecting iPhone SE and iPhone 17 Pro models, as well as a Wi-Fi connectivity problem causing temporary disconnections and reconnections on multiple devices, which also leads to wireless CarPlay disconnections in cars.

The update also fixes a bug in the calendar app’s search feature for some users, along with an issue preventing the download of Apple Intelligence models on newer iPhones.

Additionally, Apple is working on another release, iOS 26.1, which is still in beta testing. This version is expected to include the same fixes found in iOS 26.0.1 but will also bring additional improvements, including expanded language support for Apple Intelligence and the instant translation feature on compatible AirPods.

It will also include minor changes to apps such as Apple Music, Calendar, Photos, and Safari browser.
