Saudi Minister of Communications and Information Technology Abdullah bin Amer Al-Sawaha received Syrian Minister of Communications Abdul Salam Heikal in Riyadh today. They discussed the progress of strategic technological partnerships between the two brotherly countries.
According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the meeting covered discussions on qualitative initiatives to develop digital infrastructure, support innovation and entrepreneurship, and ways to empower youth to contribute to building a prosperous digital economy that promotes sustainable development and meets future aspirations.
Minister Heikal arrived in Riyadh yesterday heading a high-level delegation to participate in the Global Symposium for Regulators hosted by Riyadh.
