Today, Sunday, 135 humanitarian aid trucks entered from the Rafah land crossing in North Sinai heading to the Gaza Strip.
An official source at the crossing confirmed that the trucks loaded with food, medicines, medical supplies, and essential needs were allowed through the Rafah crossing’s secondary gate towards Kerem Abu Salem crossing to be delivered to the Palestinian side. The convoys included 19 trucks from the UAE, 20 from the Egyptian Red Crescent, 10 from the National Coalition for Developmental Civil Work, 17 from Qatar, one from Beit Al Zakat, 19 trucks designated for the Egyptian camp, and 49 trucks from the United Nations.
The total number of trucks that have entered through Rafah crossing since July 27 until Thursday reached 3,484 trucks, transporting about 27,000 tons of humanitarian and relief aid.
