His Excellency the Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Eng. Abdullah bin Amer Al-Sawaha, received today at the ministry headquarters in Riyadh, His Excellency the Minister of Communications and Information Technology of the Syrian Arab Republic, Mr. Abdulsalam Haykal, who is visiting Riyadh accompanied by a high-level delegation to participate in the Global Symposium for Regulators hosted by Riyadh.

Al-Sawaha held a meeting with Eng. Abdulsalam Haykal in the presence of senior leaders of the digital economy, space, and innovation sectors in the Kingdom, as well as the Chairman of the Syrian-Saudi Business Council, Mohammed Abu Nayan. They discussed the progress of strategic technological partnerships between the two brotherly countries, qualitative initiatives to develop digital infrastructure, support innovation and entrepreneurship, and empower youth to contribute to building a prosperous digital economy that promotes sustainable development and meets future aspirations.
