The General Union of Petroleum Workers, led by accountant Abbas Saber, signed a partnership agreement with the Human Resources Development Center at the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics. This cooperation aims to support and develop the capabilities of petroleum sector workers by providing accredited training programs in management, information technology, and languages. The programs offer internationally recognized certificates that can be authenticated by the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Training is available through the center’s branches in Abbasia and Alexandria, as well as field training in governorates and online training.

Abbas Saber emphasized that this partnership reflects the union’s commitment to offering the best professional development opportunities to enhance workers’ skills and competitiveness, aligning with the state’s focus on investing in human capital as a foundation for development.

Major General Rami Rifaat Abdel Hafiz Saleh, head of the Human Resources Development Center, expressed his pleasure with the cooperation, highlighting the center’s continuous efforts to collaborate with various state institutions and unions to provide advanced training programs that meet labor market needs and support sustainable development in Egypt.
