The National Election Authority will hold a press conference at 7 PM today at its headquarters to update the public on the voting process of Egyptians abroad on the last day of the runoff round for the 2025 Senate elections. The Central Operations Room of the National Election Authority continues to monitor the opening of polling stations for Egyptian voters abroad. This occurs during the second and final day of the runoff round of the 2025 Senate elections, conducted in 136 polling stations across 117 countries worldwide, supervised by diplomatic and consular missions, with direct follow-up from the Central Operations Room to facilitate voting and overcome any obstacles. It is noteworthy that the runoff round for the 2025 Senate elections abroad took place over Monday and Tuesday, August 25 and 26, covering constituencies of the governorates: Gharbia, Ismailia, Beni Suef, Luxor, and New Valley.
