The Israeli occupation army announced the start of a “decisive and unusual” operation on Tuesday morning in the center of Ramallah city. According to the Israeli Broadcasting Corporation, the army’s activities focus on Palestinian bank branches and exchange shops. During the ongoing raid, 18 Palestinians were injured by live bullets, rubber-coated metal bullets, and tear gas inhalation. The Palestinian Red Crescent reported transporting 18 injured individuals to the hospital, including a 12-year-old child shot in the back near the Hasba market, a young man injured in the hand, another in the thigh, two with bullet shrapnel injuries, a 71-year-old man and four others wounded by rubber bullets in the face, abdomen, and neck, and five cases of tear gas inhalation, including two pregnant women. Local sources stated that the occupation arrested at least three citizens after raiding an exchange shop in the besieged area of central Ramallah and Al-Bireh.

Rubber bullets were also fired at a journalists’ vehicle, causing damage. The sources added that occupation soldiers climbed onto the roofs of several buildings and suppressed participants in the National Day for reclaiming the bodies of martyrs held by occupation authorities at the Baladna center in Al-Bireh.
